  • BOROUGH BASKETBALL GAMES:  The middle school basketball borough games will be at Kenai Saturday, December 16th.  The borough bracket can be found on the Sports page.
  • CANNED FOOD DRIVE:  The annual Mt. View/KMS food drive for Christmas is beginning on December 1st.  Girls and Boys at KMS will compete to see who can donate the most items.  There will be fun activities and rewards during the drive.  Donations will help local families during the holidays.  Send in your donations to either school to help serve our community.
  • WINTER SPORTS:  XC skiing, girls volleyball, and wrestling will all begin right after we return from winter break.  Students should pick up paperwork now so they will be ready to practice when they return.
  • CLUBS:  Next week, students will pick which club they would like to participate in next quarter.  Clubs are a fun way to break up the winter doldrums for our students.  KMS staff take 4 to 5 Wednesdays starting in mid January, and shorten the schedule on those days to accommodate a short period at the end of the day for clubs.  There are a variety of clubs to choose from, some with a fee and some free.  Talk with your student about which club they are going to choose.
